36 years on the tools

Dan started bricklaying at 13 and spent years running sites for Kier before going out on his own. That experience shows on every job we take on.
Every job carries a 12-month snag. If something isn’t right, we come back and sort it. We’ve never left a client unhappy.
From the first quote to the final handover, you’re dealing with Dan and the lads. One team for the whole job, no separate trades to chase.
On larger builds you pay in stages, each one signed off by building control. You pay for completed work, not promises.
A couple of the people we've built for, in their own words.
Building a new home is the biggest job most people ever take on. We handle the lot, from the groundworks and foundations right through to the finish. Single houses, self-builds, or multi-plot sites for investors. Dan spent years running large projects as a site manager, so a full new build is well within our patch. We sort the structural side, the building control sign-off and the drainage before the lads break ground. On bigger builds you pay in stages, signed off as each one’s done.
A good extension changes how your whole house lives, and it’s a lot less hassle than selling up and moving. We do single and double-storey extensions, rear and side, plus the structural openings to tie the new space into the old. Ground conditions matter round here. That Fenland soil can move, so we get the foundations and drainage right from day one. Building control are in from the start and stay in through every stage.
Sometimes it isn’t more space you need, it’s the house brought back to life. We take tired properties right back and rebuild them to last. Full room strip-outs and replastering, new kitchens and bathrooms, knocking through for open-plan living. On older places we sort the hidden problems first, the damp, the dipped floors, the blown plaster, before the finishing lads come in. No point tiling a floor that isn’t solid underneath.
Knocking a wall through, opening up the ground floor, or tying an extension into the existing house. It all needs the structural side doing properly. We handle RSJ and steel installs, load-bearing wall removal and the building control sign-off that goes with it. This is where Dan’s site-management background earns its keep.
The bit nobody sees but everything sits on. Foundations, structural concrete and finished slabs, deep excavation, drainage and tank installation. We do the civils on our own builds and take on groundwork contracts for other developers too. Klargester and oil-separator installs are a bit of a specialism.
A new driveway or patio is the quickest way to smarten up the front or back of a house. We lay block paving, porcelain and natural stone, and get the sub-base and drainage right so it stays flat and doesn’t sink. Dan does the specialist stuff too, radius walls, stonework and porcelain surrounds.
Domestic, commercial and civils, all under one roof. From the footings through to the plastering, kitchens, bathrooms and paving, you’re not coordinating separate trades or getting the finger-point when something goes wrong. Dan runs every relationship himself, with Lee supervising on site and the lads getting the work done. CHAS accredited, 36 years of experience behind us, and a 12-month snag on everything we build.

It depends on the size, the spec and the ground conditions, so we won’t give you a firm price without seeing the plans. What we can do is come out, have a look and give you an honest steer on what your project’s likely to involve. On bigger jobs we work to stage payments, so you’re only ever paying for work that’s done and signed off.
Yes, on every job that needs it. We sort the structural calculations, the steels and the building control sign-off as part of the work, so you’re not left chasing paperwork or separate trades.
Every job carries our 12-month snagging guarantee. If anything isn’t right in that first year, we come back and sort it. It’s how we’ve built a business on repeat customers and referrals.
